SINHA Rai Siddhant
Ph.D. in Strategic Management
Rai Siddhant Sinha is an Assistant professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship at NEOMA Business School in France. Mr. Sinha is passionate about understanding entrepreneurs’ behaviours and the mindsets, motivations, and biological bases that underlie those behaviours.
His research appears in leading journals like the Journal of Business Venturing Insights (JBVI), among others. Two of his thesis papers have been designated best papers in the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management 2024. One of those studies was also awarded the best paper award in the track at the India Strategy Conference 2023 at IIM Bangalore. He presented the other study at the Babson conference (BCERC 2024) in TUM, Munich, Germany, which was selected as one of the Top 40 Papers and published in its entirety in the 2024 edition of Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, BCERC Proceedings (FER). He was also a part of the BCERC Doctoral Consortium.
Mr. Sinha serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several journals, including the Journal of Business Venturing (JBV), Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (ETP), Academy of Management Review (AMR), International Small Business Journal (ISBJ) and International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior and Research (IJEBR). He has also presented his work at conferences and was awarded Best Reviewer, notably at AOM 2022, British Academy of Management (BAM) 2024, and INDAM (the Indian Affiliate of AOM) 2023. Recently, he was recognized as the Most Promising Junior Entrepreneurship Scholar at the Virtual Summer School in Entrepreneurship Research 2023. Before joining the PhD program, Siddhant worked as an associate consultant at Wipro Technologies, where he handled telecommunications projects.
