Dilip Subramanian
Dilip Subramanian, Associate Professor at NEOMA and Director of the MSc International Luxury Programme, teaches HR management, luxury strategy, leadership service sector and the sharing economy. His publications on service sector work and digitisation are published in leading international academic journals.
Karim Bouhajeb
Karim Bouhajeb teaches Online Marketing Strategies and Social Media Management for luxury brands. With nearly three decades of expertise in strategic, operational, and digital marketing, he has worked with leading international brands in fashion, FMCG, and luxury industries.
Julia Pueschel
Julia Pueschel, Assistant Professor of Luxury Marketing and Program Director of MSc Luxury Marketing at NEOMA Business School, teaches marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, collection design, and research methods. Her work on luxury consumers’ motivations and cultural influences has been published in top French and international journals.
Olivier Delbard
Olivier Delbard, Professor in the Sustainability Department at ESCP, co-directs the MSc in International Sustainability Management and directs the MBA Programme at ESA. He teaches CSR, sustainable innovation, and responsible leadership. With a PhD from the University of Paris IV Sorbonne, he’s specialised in sustainable development and multi-stakeholder governance. He is also an author, consultant, and coach.

Curriculum
The programme is designed for professionals who want to work in the luxury industry. It covers important topics such as brand management, digital presence, sustainability, strategic management, and luxury consumers. Participants will gain a holistic understanding of the luxury market and learn how to manage luxury brands in today’s challenging environment.
MODULE 1: LUXURY BRAND MANAGEMENT – 2 days
Day 1: Understanding luxury markets and insights on consumer behaviour
Day 2: Understanding the characteristics of the luxury goods industry and the distinctive nature of luxury brand management
This module covers the different categories of luxury products and services, the specificities per country, the main actors (groups and independents) and the different tribes of consumers. It concludes with an overview of the key trends currently reshaping luxury.
MODULE 2: DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGIES FOR LUXURY BRANDS – 2 days
Day 1: Understanding the role of digital marketing tool and new sales channels for the luxury industry
Day 2: Understanding the influence of new technologies of tomorrow and their application to the luxury sector
Digital marketing strategies for luxury brands: Participants learn to integrate digital channels into luxury brand strategies, understand new consumer behaviors, and leverage digital marketing for traffic acquisition. The module also explores e-commerce, m-commerce, s-commerce, and emerging technologies in luxury.
MODULE 3: SUSTAINABILITY IN LUXURY MANAGEMENT
Day 1: Understanding the key sustainability challenges in the luxury industry
Day 2: Beyond compliance, sustainability as a source of innovation and a business opportunity
This module addresses how luxury brands can align with sustainability challenges and transform them into opportunities. It covers environmental, social, and ethical issues, stakeholder expectations, and strategies for sustainable luxury, supported by case studies and practical examples.
MODULE 4: STRATEGIC LUXURY MANAGEMENT
Day 1: Understanding firm organisational structures, strategic environments and resource capabilities
Day 2: Understanding the transformation of luxury from family business to ‘big business’
Participants will understand the role of strategy in luxury industry decision-making. The course examines business models, strategic applications by key luxury players, and provides tools to navigate rapidly changing business environments.
MODULE 5: LUXURY CONSUMERS
Day 1: Understand consumer behaviour to manage and sustain luxury brands
Day 2: How did the luxury consumer change in the last decade and what caused these changes. We will analyse the economic and societal changes and their influences on luxury consumers
The role of the consumer has become central for the success of luxury brands. This module focuses on the evolving role of luxury consumers, analysing different consumer types and how they influence and transform the luxury market through digital practices and global mobility.
Evaluation methods
At the end of the programme, participants will be asked to complete a group business project and to submit an individual assignment.
