LELASSEUX Laure

Ph.D. in Management Organizational Theory

Laure is an Assistant Professor of Sustainability at NEOMA Business School in France.Laure’s research focuses on professions and occupations as internal social change agents on crucial issues such as health, or the current social and environmental crisis. In her dissertation, she explored the emergence and construction of doctors’ agency at the individual and collective levels and their role in the reform of reproductive rights in France. She is now taking further her exploration of the role of professions and professionals within society in the context of climate change. She is currently focusing on CSR managers, to better understand how they develop and demonstrate their expertise. She uses qualitative methods. Her research appears in the Journal of Professions and Organizations. She also regularly attends international conferences such as the Academy of Management and EGOS. She holds a Ph.D. from HEC Paris, a master degree from ESSEC Business School and a master in business law from Paris II Pantheon-Assas University.  Prior to joining academia, she worked in corporate philanthropy and microcredit organizations. She is also the co-founder of the French Student Observatory of Sexual Violence in Higher Education.
