NEOMA's world

Thematics :

Student activities and campus life are exceptionally active at NEOMA. Here we look back at 3 of January’s highlights.

1/Déclic Entreprendre went to Start-up Safari in Athens

In January, the students of the Déclic Entreprendre society travelled to the heart of the enterprise ecosystem in Athens for the ninth Start-up Safari Capital. They were able to explore Greek innovation and broaden their outlook: they talked with Endeavor Greece about the impact of networking, discovered Pi55 Coworking and the Click to Therapy start-up, devoted to mental health. At Business France, they explored the economic opportunities Greece has to offer, and Enter Grow Go gave them an immersive experience into the world of incubators. Such a lot of enriching discussions and discoveries!

2/Sportsmen and women from the 3 campuses came together for the Sports Derby

On 18 and 19 January, NEOMA students from Rouen, Reims and Paris came together on the Reims campus for the Sports Derby. Once again, the encounters were thrilling and the atmosphere electric. As for the winners, the Rouen students were the stars, victorious in women’s rugby, women’s handball, futsal, men’s football, tennis and swimming. We should add that these were not easy wins, with fierce competition from the Reims and Paris teams.

Supporters were in full voice, yelling their heads off from the stands at every match. “Our students showed they were equal to the high level of sport established for several years by our Reims counterparts”, wrote the Rouen participants. “Together we are writing the story of our campus in a spirit of friendship and solidarity”, added the students. (Thank you to the FBEYE – Image Bureau for their fantastic work!)

3/ Students on the BMS, GBBA and GMP programmes received their degrees

At the end of January, the Kindarena, Rouen’s Sports Hall, hosted the degree awards ceremony for students on the BMS, GBBA and GMP programmes. They therefore celebrated the end of their academic career and above all their success in great style. This event will long remain in their memories, with speeches by Delphine Manceau, Dean of NEOMA, programme leaders and local MPs, plus entertainment and celebrations. The atmosphere throughout was charged with high emotion and great pride.
